Evoke

Where do you go,

who do you see,

who cuts your hair,

or makes you tea?

Who will talk to me

in your place?

Who will stand and watch

to make sure we’re ok?

Why did you leave,

who said you could?

Not me, or her or him.

Nobody said you should.

Empty spaces, unfilled.

Rooms with awkward silence.

Where did you go,

who do you see?

Not him. Or her. Or me.
